MEET OUR THERAPISTS

A message from the Cosbys

Emma and Brent Cosby, Founders and Owners of Southern Counseling Group
Dear Neighbor, Welcome to our website—we’re truly glad you’re here. As longtime residents of rural communities ourselves, we know firsthand the unique challenges that come with living in a small town. One of the most pressing issues we’ve seen, and experienced personally, is the lack of access to quality mental health care close to home. That’s why we started this clinic: to bring compassionate, expert support to the place we love and call home. At Southern Counseling Group, our mission is simple: expert care, close to home. We believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality mental health services, no matter their ZIP code. Whether you’re seeking help for yourself or someone you care about, our team is here to listen, support, and walk with you—every step of the way.
